2011 November - The club recently held an opening night to officialy launch the installation of the Solar Panels. All sponsors and people involve in the project were invited and a small presentation of how the project developed was made by Chairmen of the Club Neil kellogg where he thanked all the people and organisations that have supported the cricket club on this venture.
2012 - New Years Day Tote The annual Fund raising Tote event will take place in Spondon Liberal club at 1pm

Spondon Cricket Club Is Now Generating Electricity
On September 22nd we switched on 18 Solar PV panels installed on our roof. We are now generating our own electricity using a renewable energy source, helping to reduce the cost of our electricity and reduce our carbon footprint in the community.
